Introduction
ACC Library Mini Exhibition
“Ten-Cut Literature,” Geung’s Illustrated Diary
In celebration of September, the “Month of Reading,” and the 5th Asian Literature Festival, the ACC Library is opening a mini exhibition showcasing “Ten-Cut Literature,” a collection of instatoon works.
This exhibition features works from the popular instatoon artist Geung’s book “Are We Still Alive Today?” along with new works by “Geung, who visits the ACC.”
We hope you find comfort and courage through “The Ordinary Yet Extraordinary: Geung’s Illustrated Diary.”
Author Geung

Geung is an artist who illustrates and writes about daily life. She enjoys expressing stories that could happen to anyone but are often difficult to share through both text and drawings. After her father was diagnosed with ALS, she began serializing “The Ordinary Yet Extraordinary: Geung’s Illustrated Diary” out of fear that the time and emotions shared with him would fade. In addition to creating comics and writing, she collaborates with various media to produce content focused on themes of personal growth, healing, self-esteem, and diverse social issues. Geung graduated from Gyeonggi Arts High School’s Comics Creation Department and majored in Animation Directing at Kyoto University of Art and Design.
