Introduction
Distinctly Korean shadow puppets come to life in three dimensions through the magic of light!?
“Story In! It’s a Story!” presents familiar traditional tales in a new way. Without compromising their original essence, these stories are reborn to suit the modern era, conveying the power of storytelling to the audience through stories within stories.

This shadow puppet show, which harmonizes three- and two-dimensional elements, light and darkness, and tradition with modernity, guides children through the world of puppetry and shadows. Overcoming the flatness and simplicity of traditional shadow plays performed behind the stage, this on-stage shadow display will ignite the audience’s imagination and creativity.
Plot
Plot
A straw shoemaker, an umbrella seller, and a hunter.
These three people encounter a terrifying giant while crossing a mountain pass in the middle of the night.
The giant, who has captured and imprisoned them, threatens to only spare one person,
who tells the most desperate story of why they must return alive.

The hunter tells the story of how the tiger he met in the mountains became his brother;
the straw shoemaker tells the story of how he misunderstood his father, who dedicated his life to making straw shoes; and
the umbrella seller tells the story of how he became a storyteller after meeting goblins who love stories.
As they each tell their stories, begging the giant to spare them,
the giant, far from releasing them, devours all three.
Desperate in the giant’s belly, the three devise a plan to escape...

Will the three be able to escape from the belly of the huge, terrifying giant?
